Aromatherapy Massage

This treatment combines the medicinal properties of plants with the healing benefits of massage. Essential oils are derived from various plants and herbs and are added in small amounts to carrier oils. The scents which are released, act on the limbic and emotional centres of the brain. The effects of aromatherapy include relaxation and invigoration. The oils are also beneficial for the skin. The aromatherapist will select the appropriate oils for each individual. Massage is applied using Swedish and acupressure techniques.
