Dr. Mauroof Athique is one of the leading Ayurvedic physicians in the UK. He qualified in Ayurvedic medicine in 1967 from the Government College of Ayurvedic Medicine, Sri Lanka. He specialised in Panchakarma following his internship at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Colombo. He is also qualified in Acupuncture, Homeopathy and Integrated Medicine, which he skillfully blends into his daily practice. He is a member of the Ayurvedic Medical Association (UK), European Herbal Practitioners Association, British Holistic Medical Association, the Royal College of Nursing and the International Acupuncture Federation.
