Tim Mulvagh

Tim Mulvagh studied Oriental Medicine at the London Academy of Oriental Medicine from 1993 to 1997 with masters from China, Vietnam and Japan. Since 1997 he has specialized in combining Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine .Earlier in his career starting 1987, Tim practiced Shiatsu and Acupressure and has taught Shiatsu to students and practitioners in Greece, Spain, the UK and Ireland. He also practices Qi Gong and Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan.

Under the new Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines, I am not allowed to list the wide range of conditions that I believe can be helped by Chinese medicine, however, I can discuss these with you.

The Facial Lift & Cleanse Programme
This unique programme consists of a course of facial treatments and guided exercises. The course is divided into 3 sections of six treatments of facial acupuncture. Needles are inserted into 20 of the main acupuncture points of the face focusing on the brow above the eyes, the cheeks and the lower jaw line. This strongly stimulates the flow of vital energy and blood to the face, which deeply cleanses the tissues and brings nourishment and tone to the facial skin and muscles. Each acupuncture session begins with a 10 - 15 minute guided Qigong and facial exercise segment to strengthen and open the skin and muscles of the face. The Qigong and facial exercise progress in intensity as the programme develops. Finally body acupuncture points are selected in each treatment to address the client’s entire constitution and health.

Each of the three sections of six treatments expands on the previous one, as the facial muscles become stronger and fuller, with a one week rest period in between each section. The entire programme takes between 12 and 18 weeks to complete.
