Massih Yaghmaie

Massih Yaghmaie comes from a long line of medical practitioners--both his
grandmother and mother practised Persian medicine or TIBB. He obtained his
honours degree in Biology/Biochemistry from London University, specialising in
molecular biology (1978-1982). He started his Doctorate, studying the
relationship between the structure of red blood cells and cancer.
After a severe knee injury at a Martial Arts Competition, he became interested in Osteopathy and Naturopathic Medicine. He discontinued his Doctorate programme and switched to a full-time course in Osteopathy. Massih then embarked on a 4-year full-time degree course in Acupuncture.
He has worked in the field of complementary medicine since 1984. He is a registered Cranio-sacral Osteopath and a registered Naturopathic physician. He has given lectures in anatomy, physiology, pathology and Chinese medicine at various colleges.
